Appreciating Every Moment

I asked for flowers,
you gave me a pair of pants...
'cause that's what I need at that moment.

I wanted to go to Licao-licao,
we went to San Isidro...
'cause that's the place I have to see at that moment.

I asked for seed / seedling,
you did not respond...
'cause I have nowhere to plant it at that moment.

I asked for a sketch pad and marker,
I forgot what happened...
but maybe I just don't need that at that moment.

I may not have the things I want
But at least, I have the things I need
